Our Local Ministry

At MKSTAY we're fulfilling Christ’s Great Commission by assisting young adult children of overseas missionaries as they transition into successful adulthood.

These gifted young adults (known as "Missionary Kids" or "MKs") have grown up overseas with a global perspective; yet many lack a Christian support network important for life in the U.S.

While their parents remain overseas, returning MKs need help transitioning to life here.

Many MKs quietly struggle to acquire basic American cultural skills and find helpful resources & connections.

They need to know how to locate reliable transportation, get a driver’s license, open a checking account, find a good church, secure a job, explore educational opportunities, develop quality relationships, and make other important life decisions.

We assist MKs with these crucial adjustments--

We provide peace of mind for overseas missionaries by providing a safe haven for their stateside MK.

We mentor the next generation of missionaries. Studies show that 1 of every 4 missionaries is an Adult MK.
